Everyone is welcome to join us at the home of CycleUp Textiles at the Riverside Centre in Athleague, Co Roscommon to see what and how we produce 100% upcycled bags and gifts that benefit the environment and support the women of Roscommon.You can join in an upcycled wreath making workshop (€10 only) - suitable for everyone (you don't even need to be able to sew!) The workshops have limited space and are on from 12 - 2pm so let us know if you are joining us, you can book online or call/ email to reserve your space.
As part of the Roscommon Women's Network we want to make sure that everyone is included and no one left behind, the days are getting shorter, it can be hard to get out and about and we all could do with someone to talk to sometimes. Join us for a walk and Talk along the River Suck, right next to the Centre. You can walk 2m or 2km, the choice is yours - you don't have to talk to anyone but there will always be someone to talk to along the way if you do want to. It is accessible and the weather looks good but if that changes we will move the route.
Our fabulous volunteers from the Roscommon Women's Network Charity shop will also be joining us with their specially selected range of quality clothing and gifts all donated to raise funds for the RWN charity.
Whether you join us for those activities or not you are welcome to come and enjoy an afternoon tea and be the first to browse our new upcycled collections just in time for Christmas presents - what could be better than giving Christmas gifts with a meaningful purpose that are also gorgeous?
