WHAT IS CYCLES ABOUT?»Cycles« is an advanced 5Rhythms® workshop. It takes five full days. It’s transformational work that encompasses our whole life, from the cradle to the grave. We use the spiritual movement practice of the 5Rhythms created by Gabrielle Roth as our main tool for this work.
As of now, only three people on earth are entitled to teach the »Cycles« map: Jonathan Horan, Gabrielle Roth’s son, keeper of the flame of the 5Rhythms and head of 5Rhythms Global. Tammy Burstein from NYC, and Peter Fodera, also from NYC.
Jonathan Horan taught his first ever »Cycles« workshop roughly 20 years ago in the same venue in Hamburg we’ll be gathering in in June 2025. But this time it’ll be Peter Fodera teaching »Cycles«.
For me it’s a dream come true. Peter is my friend and most cherished colleague in the 5R world. He has been working very closely with Gabrielle on all levels in the last ten years of her life. He has been drinking it all from the source. And his own unique life experience makes him the ideal guide through the cycles of our lives (and beyond).
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
CYCLES is an up close and personal look at our own lives, our birth, our upcoming death and everything and everyone between. We make connections, reweave threads, let go of the hurt and humiliations. We get real. We honor the people and events that have shaped who we are and the challenges and gifts they left us with and reinvent our inherited self into somebody we truly want to be.
Nothing truly dies…all energy simply transforms.
We like to think of everything as being linear but in reality everything is cyclical. So it is with the cycles of life.
»Life is a journey. Its route is essentially the same for everyone, even though we start in different settings and with different baggage.« Gabrielle Roth
In the »Cycles« workshop we give ourselves permission to embody the journey with new eyes and understanding. We explore the patterns, waves and vibrations that move us from birth to death. Our journey will be a deep investigation into our personal relationship to the rhythms and rituals, teaching and traditions, the people and places that have formed and informed who we are. It is an opportunity to move with the parts of ourselves that we wish to honor and explore as well as those parts of ourselves that we wish to let go of. Common ground connects us all and coming together to explore the cycles of life gives us the opportunity to see ourselves in each other.

Peter Fodera about himself:
ROOTED SNAKE RICH SOIL * INTUITIVE VISION EFFORTLESS ASCENT * BROTHER FATHER BEAR * CALM GENTLE SMOKE WISDOM * FLYING WITHOUT WINGS
My passion as an artist, art educator and conservator, combined with my experience in embodiment and my eclectic love of music continue to enrich my practice of the 5Rhythms movement meditation. My teaching is clear, compassionate and a celebration of life. It is both a blessing and honor to be teaching this work.
Tom R. Schulz about Peter Fodera:
Peter is one of the most wonderful human beings on earth I know. He is ultra compassionate, full of humour, an inspiring artist, a treasure box of music of all genres, styles, times (he can sing, too). We’ll have the time of our lives with him.
