Cycles is a powerful and evocative play that delves into the interconnected lives of individuals grappling with personal demons, societal stigma, and the cyclical nature of pain and redemption. The play follows Denise, a young woman whose life is upended by an HIV diagnosis, as she navigates the fallout with her family, friends and faith. Alongside Denise, we meet Sticks, Ten and Mr. Lyons. each battling their own cycles of hurt - whether from past trauma, systemic injustice, or the scars of societal expections. As these characters cross paths, they confront their deepest fears, question their beliefs, and ultimately find hope and healing through unity and faith. Interwoven with music, dance, poignant dialogue, Cycles is a testament to relilience of the human spirit and enduring power of community.
