Meeting Place: St Heliers Bay Bistro, 387 Tamaki Drive, St HeliersDate: Monday 12th January 2026
Time: 10 am for ride start at 10.30 am
Duration: We will ride about 20 - 25 km in a loop from St Heliers on shared paths and cycleways, and quiet roads. For the first ride of the year we will do a completely flat route. The ride will take about 2 hours. Allow longer if you are staying for lunch.
Who will this ride suit?
This ride will suit all riders including those that want to come along on "muscle bikes". If you haven't ridden for a while or are feeling reluctant to get on your bike, a bit unsure, then this is the ride for you. Come and join us for an easy paced ride. If you are a seasoned rider you are also welcome. Come along and meet people who enjoy social riding. All welcome.
We ride together at a modest pace that doesn't leave anyone behind. Come along and join us for lunch after at a cafe in the St Heliers area (details confirmed on the day).
Parking: If you are travelling by car to get to the ride start please park on the village fringe where there are no parking time restrictions. This will leave limited time parking for shorter stay shoppers.
Future rides: We ride from St Heliers every second Monday of the month. Check details as ride start location may change on future rides.
