Seeing cycling communities from around the world bravely defying the odds can be a big source of motivation and courage. We are absolutely stoked to be celebrating the completion of our second season of events by sharing some of the short films that inspire us. Big thanks to Albert-Eden & Puketāpapa Eco Festival for generously providing us with our beautiful venue!Our hope is to encourage our community to forge deep connections with cycling and to help others to do so!
We will rig up a projector in the Mount Eden War Memorial Hall and screen a curated selection of 8-15 inspiring short films about riding, inclusion, diversity and positive body image. We encourage you to bring bean bags, cushions and blankets to help make the space comfortable and cosy. This venue has regular free-standing chairs (not couches like our last film event).
You are welcome to bring along some homemade (or store-bought) vegetarian or vegan snacks and drinks to share, last time people were so generous and sharing kai was a really beautiful part of our film night atmosphere!
Bringing your lovely self along is more than enough so feel free to do just that! Snacks, drinks and cushions are all optional extras.

Cycle Babes free-to-access sessions provide people with hands-on cycle skills, confidence and leadership abilities in a relaxed group setting. We are trans and queer inclusive and warmly welcome women and non-binary people of all ages and backgrounds to our events.

Cycle Babes is all about learning from your peers, making new friends, recognising each other’s skills and sharing knowledge in a community group setting. So you can gain confidence in your abilities, learning by your own hand through the support of the group.
