Cybersecurity for Gov’t Sales

This mid-level course will explain cybersecurity compliance for government contractors and small business. It is recommended that you take Introduction to Government Contracting before attending this course. Learn how to protect your business with cybersecurity controls.

This seminar will provide an overview of the DOD initiative to provide Cyber security of the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) that requires safeguarding or dissemination controls pursuant to and consistent with applicable law, regulations, and government-wide policies but is not classified. The webinar will include information on the NIST 800-171 requirements, the Project Spectrum program, and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

This 10 session IN PERSON series meets the 1st Wednesday monthly in 2026, and is hosted by the GT APEX Accelerator in partnership with the Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship.
