About this Event

Class Description

Learn about the history and context of the cyanotype process. Students will be lead through an activation where each participant selects some natural materials (sticks, leaves, etc.). They then will begin the process of treating cloth with cyanotype materials and exposing them to the sun outside. This class will walk students through the full process of mapping out what they want their piece to look like to seeing the final product after sun exposure.

The materials fee for this class is $15. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts Venmo, Zelle, CashApp or Cash.
