This workshop is part of Forever We Are Full, an exhibition at Croydon Museum celebrating 10 years of Play for Progress. You can drop in to see the exhibition at any time during museum opening hours between the 28th of May & 31st August.
During the exhibition, visitors will also be invited to take part in four workshops designed to offer a taste of Play for Progress’ creative programmes.
13 June: Workshop 1 – Cyanotype Printing with Emma Brown (2 hours)
Join Emma Brown for a free cyanotype workshop where you'll discover one of the oldest and most magical photographic printing techniques around. No experience needed; just curiosity and a sense of fun.
Cyanotype is a simple, beautiful process that produces stunning blue-and-white prints using light-sensitive paper and the power of the sun. You'll get to experiment with leaves, flowers, objects, or your own designs to create unique prints that are entirely your own.
What to expect:
- A relaxed, friendly atmosphere - come as you are
- Step-by-step guidance from start to finish
- All materials provided
- Leave with your own handmade cyanotype prints
