About this Event
Come spend a chill, creative afternoon with Wrinkle Ceramics learning the dreamy art of cyanotype printing—a super cool (and very blue) early photo process that captures bold silhouettes and delicate textures.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll walk you through how to make your own cyanotype prints using found objects (think: sunglasses, sheer fabrics, lightbulbs—whatever catches light in an interesting way) and film negatives for a more photographic feel.
You’ll learn how to choose and arrange your items, expose them to sunlight (or UV light), and then develop your prints in water—aka the most satisfying part. It’s low-pressure, high-reward, and totally beginner-friendly.
You'll head home with 4 of your own finished prints and all the know-how to keep experimenting on your own. Bring a few small objects if you’d like—we’ll also have a table full of fun things to play with.
