For 50 years, Citywide Youth Coalition (CWYC) has been building youth leaders, strengthening communities, and creating pathways for young people to organize, lead, and make change. Now it’s your turn to come inside, see the work up close, and discover how you can be part of the next chapter.
Join us for an evening of connection, community, and possibility. Meet our youth leaders, explore our programs — including Organizing, our Political Education Lab (P.E.L.), and our Leadership Pipeline — and learn about the opportunities and benefits available to young people. Whether you’re a teen looking to grow as a leader, a parent searching for meaningful opportunities for your child, or a community member who believes in the power of youth, this space is for you.
Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their teens to learn how families can support youth leadership development together. Adults without children are also welcome — because building a future where youth lead change requires adults who are willing to grow too.
We will also introduce our Adult Membership opportunities and our new Unlearning Space for Adults — a transformative experience designed to help adults relearn how to listen to, honor, and follow the leadership of young people. This space supports adults in unlearning harmful norms like adultism while building skills to partner with youth in meaningful, respectful ways.
