Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Carlton Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT at main entrance off Cavendish Road.
This tour will focus on casualties from World War One. You will hearing stories about some of the men, incuding a RAF pilot cadet who was so determined to fight for King and country, despite being underage, and of a soldier who signed up under an alias.
The tour will last approx. 90 mins and cover about 650 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground and slopes.
There is on street parking available. There are no on-site facilities or toilets, so please bring water if required.
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
