CWAC Borough of Sanctuary Faith Networking Event

Join us for a morning of faith networking at the CWAC Borough of Sanctuary event on February 12th at 9:30 AM!
About this Event

I am sure you will be aware that the number of refugees and asylum seekers is increasing nationally, including Cheshire West and Chester. The role that places of worship have in supporting these vulnerable members of our community shouldn’t be underestimated as we are so often at the frontline of those most in need. With this in mind, Chester Cathedral in partnership with the Council would like to invite you to two events on Wednesday 12th February 2025.

First Event: CWAC Borough of Sanctuary Faith Networking Event - 09:30 – 12:15 in the Chapter House, Chester Cathedral

This will focus on raising awareness and myth busting and will include presentations from those with lived experience and some of our faith colleagues who are already working in this environment who will share their best practice.

This event will be aimed at faith partners so please do share this invite with anyone else from your congregation or other places of worship who may not have received this invite.

Networking lunch: between 12:15 and 13:00 (venue at the Cathedral TBC)
