The library is having our annual tax clinics. CVITP (Community Volunteer Income Tax Program) volunteers prepare income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals with a modest income, a simple tax situation, and who are not able to prepare and file their return themselves. Modest income is $40,000 for individuals, $55,000 for couples, plus $5,000 for each dependent. Our volunteers will not prepare tax returns for those over the threshold above. We also will be filing tax returns for the 2025 tax year only.
