About this Event
Discover gorgeous, locally grown, and cut flowers as you journey through a year of seasonal blooms produced by a small flower garden in Palatine, Illinois. Learn the history of Fancy Flower Girls and what it takes to make it all happen, from selecting the right flowers to preparing your garden for success. You will also learn about the fancy cut flowers, typically used by florists, that you can grow in your own garden! This class is great for all flower lovers and the perfect way to kick off Spring!
This class has been taught at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, and this will be the first time it is presented locally!
Katherine from Fancy Flower Girls will bring some in-season blooms to have available for purchase at the end of the class.
