About this Event

Cut & Paste Vision Workshop

At Seaweed Co., we believe in the power of cannabis to promote well-being — and we believe well-being shows up in lots of small, everyday ways. Slowing down. Creating with your hands. Carving out space to think about what you actually want.

That's what this workshop is for.

Join us for a free 2 hour vision board workshop at our South Portland location. Sit down with stacks of colorful magazines, scissors, and good company.

No prompts, no journaling assignments, no heavy lifting — just a quiet, low-pressure afternoon of letting your hands tell you what you want next.

You'll leave with a finished 8.5x11 vision board on cardstock that fits in any standard frame, and a calmer mind.

This is part of our ongoing community programming — small gatherings designed to bring people together around well-being, creativity, and connection.

What's Included

  • All materials: cardstock, magazines, papers, scissors, and glue
  • Light refreshments
  • Guided instruction in a relaxed group setting
  • A finished vision board to take home the same day

What to Bring Just yourself and some intentions. Optional: anything personal you'd like to incorporate (a meaningful photo, a found object, a magazine you want to cut up).

Who This Is For Anyone curious about vision boarding without the woo. Anyone who wants a break from screens. Anyone who likes the idea of an unhurried afternoon of making something with their hands. No creative experience required — if you can use a pair of scissors, you're qualified.

About Your Instructor The workshop is led by Jordan King, Seaweed Co.'s assistant manager and creative lead. Jordan is a Portland-based artist with a BFA in ceramics from Maine College of Art and a decade of experience facilitating creative experiences for diverse groups.
