About this Event
Stop shouting over loud music. Skip the awkward small talk. Find your spark in total silence.
Dating apps are exhausting. Standard mixers—where you ask 15 different people, "So, what do you do for work?"—are even worse. At Amerigone, we know that true chemistry transcends a shared language. Sometimes, the absolute best way to break the ice is to remove spoken words entirely.
Welcome to Customs & Chemistry.
The Rule: No Talking for 60 Minutes
When you arrive at the border, you will receive a "Travel Kit"—a pen, your official "Amerigone Passport," and a match card. Then, the music goes up, the lights go down, and a strict vow of silence begins.
For the first hour of the night, spoken words are strictly forbidden. Instead, you will navigate the "language barrier" by communicating in the most flirtatious, low-pressure way possible: passing notes.
The Experience
Guided by our Chief Customs Officer, you will rotate through a series of rapid-fire, silent matches. Every few minutes, you’ll be given a new "Immigration Prompt." You and your match will swap Passports to collaboratively doodle, answer bizarre questions, and playfully interrogate each other without making a sound.
No pressure to be witty on the spot. You just need a pen.
No boring small talk. We ask the questions; you draw the answers.
Total mystery. It’s just you, your match, and a shared notebook.
The Border Opens
After 60 minutes of silent doodles, intense eye contact, and quiet laughs, the Officer will announce: "Visas approved. You may now speak." The room will instantly explode into conversation. But this time, you won't be starting from scratch. You will already have a dozen inside jokes, terrible drawings, and shared moments to talk about with the people you connected with most.
At the end of the night, privately mark your Visa Match Card. Check the Green "Visa Granted" box if you want to stay in touch—whether for a date, a coffee, or a collaboration. If the Visa is mutual, Amerigone will officially introduce you the next day.
