Workshop Customer service oversee daily operations of the workshop. Determine the extent of required repairs for customers and provide accurate and timely quotes / estimates. Managing and coordinating book ins and customer feedback between the workshop and front office. Other responsibilities include ordering parts, receiving parts, managing inventory, equipment and maintaining a safe working environment. Execute instructions given by owner.
Our team is looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, mechanical workshop and Land Rover knowledge, sound practical judgement, strong communication skills and attention to detail. Someone who has sober habits and maintains presentable and professional appearance at all times.
Relevant experience of 3-5 years in a workshop environment
- Candidate must provide proof of relevant experience (3-5 years) and contactable reference thereof
- Provide detailed and accurate estimates for all required repairs, including parts and labour costs.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, repairs, and other relevant information.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process, keeping customers informed and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with other team members, including technicians, to ensure that repairs are completed to the highest standards.
- Checking parts
- Managing and coordinating vehicle repair flow to due dates
- Must have valid driver’s licence
- The ability to perform well under stressful situations is a necessary requirement for this position.
- Knowledge of computer system
- Quality control
- Making sure vehicle is ready for collection
- Age / ID number must be made available on application
