Description: In this workshop, you'll learn how to create a hanging lamp and shade and customize it using sublimation printing and collage on fabric. This workshop is for anyone who wants to get creative and make something truly unique, while enjoying a community craft environment with others!

- Step-by-step instructions for heat pressing to create long lasting prints
- Tips for sublimation printing
- Tips for choosing the right materials and designs for the perfect press
- Pro tips for troubleshooting common heat press problems
- Collaging techniques
- Step-by-step instructions for building and assembling your own hanging lamp to take home, complete with lightbulb and wiring
Materials Provided:
- All required lamp supplies (cords, ring shades, mesh, fabric)
- Embellishments and accessories to dress up your lamp
- Access to a variety of digital prints and designs to collage with
- Heat press machine + all necessary tools and materials
- Expert guidance throughout the entire process
Who Should Attend: This workshop is open to anyone -no design experience needed—just bring your creative energy and we'll handle the rest.

Created by Ruby Gold in 2023, Orchard is a project devoted to merging whimsical art with fashion through the form of clothing and accessories.
