About this Event
Custom Book Edge Workshop: A Romance Lover’s Craft Night ✨📚
Your favorite romance deserves to look as dramatic as it feels.
Join us at Sugar & Spice Books for a cozy, creative night dedicated to turning your well-loved paperback into a custom edition worthy of your bookshelf (and your next Instagram post).
Using acrylic paint and curated stencils — think florals, celestial details, flames, vines, and romantic motifs — you’ll design and paint your own custom book edges with step-by-step guidance from our team.
Whether it’s:
- your comfort reread
- your current five-star obsession
- or the romantasy that emotionally ruined you (in the best way)
…this is your chance to give it the special edition treatment.
No crafting experience required. Just bring your love of swoony tension, morally gray characters, epic love stories, and a paperback ready for its glow-up.
This event is perfect for you if…
- You have a favorite romance that deserves special edition treatment

- You’ve ever said, “I wish this came with sprayed edges”
- You want a cozy night out that isn’t a bar or a loud venue
- You’re craving creative time with fellow romance readers
Whether you’re deep in your fantasy era, living for small-town slow burn, or recovering from your latest morally gray obsession — this night is for you.
Come make your shelves as beautiful as your book taste. ✨
