About this Event
WORKSHOP DATE: SATURDAY October 25th, 2-4pm
Sewing curves seems intimidating- so much more complex than sewing straight lines in piecing patchwork. No worries- this is a beginner's session in sewing curves, using the classic quilt pattern Drunkard's Path as a starting point. We will play with a wild stash of fabrics to make your own improvised block.
Fabric, notions, patterns and shared machines provided, you can take home pattern pieces to keep practicing with. Bring your own machine if you would like.
The studio is located in a second-story walk-up, with no elevator. We have a cozy tea setup and you're welcome to bring your own snacks. Also you can take off your shoes and bring slippers if you are so inclined! Masking is requested and KN95 masks are provided. Please arrive on time or a little early so we can make the most of the afternoon.
