About this Event

Curiosity as a Leadership Superpower: The Art of Asking Better Questions

American culture has done a good job of diminishing curiosity in favor of conformity, authority, efficiency, and “right answers.” Our traditional education systems, workplace standards, societal norms, and even well-meaning adults often stifle our desire to explore and ask questions. At an early age, we learn to replace asking “why” and “what if” out of fear of being wrong, disruptive, or different. The long-term result? Adults who don’t know how to ask good questions, foster authentic dialogue, and connect deeply with others. Leaders who struggle with building trust, nurturing innovation, solving complex problems, and adapting to change.

So many people believe that curiosity is an innate quality that only some of us are born with. The truth is that a mindset of curiosity can (and must) be learned, cultivated, and refined over a lifetime. And it’s genuinely one of the most powerful leadership superpowers we all have access to.

In this interactive 90-minute virtual workshop, you’ll learn how to harness the power of curiosity in your leadership practice and life. We’ll teach you how to ask great questions and intentionally cultivate environments where asking questions (and the questions under questions) is encouraged and the norm. We’ll explore how to use curiosity and powerful questioning as tools for problem-solving, de-escalating tension and conflict, addressing big emotions, fostering innovation, and navigating the unknown with grace. You’ll walk away with practical tools and strategies, game-changing techniques, and increased confidence to flex your curiosity muscle at work, on your team, in relationships, and even with strangers on the street!

This Workshop is For You If:

  • You’re a leader (in title or practice) looking to build trust and strengthen relationships
  • You feel curious, but feel like you aren’t asking the “right” questions (yet)
  • Practicing curiosity feels hard and you want to learn how to make it feel more natural
  • You want to deepen your leadership impact through deeper conversations and better questions
  • You believe that leadership is about connection, not control
