About this Event
Please note that the panel discussion is a hybrid event. It will take place in-person at the Concordia Conference Centre (John Molson Building, 9th floor). For those who chose the virtual attendance ticket, we will be live-streaming via Zoom (Link will be sent to your email).
Join us for a discussion about the considerations, challenges and ambitions of single-use plastic bans at both the federal and city levels. Our panelists include federal and local officials and experts on the ban, a waste management researcher, and representatives of Concordia University’s own waste reduction programs.
The first hour of this event will be dedicated to the panel discussion on single-use plastic bans, then Zero Waste Challenge participants are welcome to stick around for the prize draw, for a catered meal, and to discuss their experience throughout the week.
