Join Cuplet Fern Florida Native Plant Society in 2026 for "Protecting Paradise," a series dedicated to conserving our state's precious natural treasures. We are honored to host guest speakers from the nonprofit and governmental sectors leading environmental advocacy and science.
This month, we have Alice Bard Alice Bard who serves as a District Biologist for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Florida State Parks.
With a distinguished career spanning thirty-six years within the Florida Park Service, Alice brings a wealth of institutional knowledge to our program. In her capacity as District Biologist, she provides vital oversight for thirty-three parks across sixteen counties. Alice also serves as the dedicated park biologist for ten specific locations, including Lake Griffin, Anastasia, Fort Mose, Gamble Rogers, North Peninsula, and the expansive Tomoka Basin complex.
