The first in a series of shows this fall and winter - Cupboard’s Cabaret aims to foster the budding clown and alt-comedy community in DC. The night begins with a free open mic, Cupboard’s Laboratory, where anyone can sign up to try out a clown idea in front of a live audience. After the Laboratory, the ticketed Cabaret highlights performers who have previously honed their act, whether at Fringe Festivals, prestigious French clown colleges, or right here in DC.
