CUNY School of Law Presents, “Wheels for Wellness”

10 Mile Ride: 10:30 AM – 12:15 PM

Join us during National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month for "Wheels of Wellness," a 10-mile cycling ride from CUNY School of Law to Randall’s Island and back, dedicated to spreading awareness for mental health and suicide prevention within the legal and surrounding community.

This ride is more than just a cycling affair, it’s a commitment to fostering wellness and resilience in a demanding profession. After the ride, participants will come together for lunch and a brief conversation, honoring those impacted by suicide. Mental health and legal support resources will be available on-site, underscoring the importance of self-care and community support within the legal field.

All proceeds from the event will go towards CUNY School of Law’s BLSA'25 Mental Wellness Grant, directly contributing to mental health support for law students. Co-sponsored by Unlimited Biking, Inc. and other community partners, this event offers a powerful way to make a difference while building connections within the legal community.

10:00 AM: Registration & Bike Rental

10:30 AM: Wheels Up & Ride Begins at CUNY School of Law's Campus

11:15 AM: Wheels Down & Restroom at Randall’s Island, Hilltop Picnic Area

11:30 AM: Wheels Up & Ride Returns to CUNY School of Law's Campus

12:15 PM: Wheels Down & Bike Rental Return

1:00 PM: Words of Recognition & Conversation by CUNY BLSA, Alum, and Sponsors
