Welcome to our vibrant Chess Club at the Langston Hughes Queens Public Library! Our club is dedicated to fostering a love of chess in young minds, offering an inclusive environment where kids from grades 1st to 10th can learn, play, and grow. Register now at www.LittleMediaCreators.com/chess-club

Whether your child is a beginner just learning the moves or an advanced player looking to sharpen their skills, our chess club provides tailored lessons to suit every level. Each session combines interactive lessons, strategic gameplay, and fun activities to help kids develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and concentration skills.

This fall season, our club meets every Saturday from September 28th to December 7th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We have an exciting lineup of events, including a citywide tournament, Family Day, a costume competition, and an end-of-season in-house tournament with awards and prizes!

Beyond chess, our club promotes community, friendship, and sportsmanship, creating a supportive space where children can make new friends, build confidence, and enjoy the challenge of chess.
