A photographic exhibition telling the story of Cumbria Connect, one of the UK largest nature recovery programmes, which is based in the eastern fells of Cumbria. The programme is a major collaboration of landowners, farmers, conservationists and communities working together to restore nature on a massive scale - some 42,000 hectares from Penrith to Kendal. The exhibition will run from now until Monday 14th October and invites the public to not only view photos that show the landscape, work and people involved with Cumbria Connect, but also to share their views on the future of this spectacular landscape.
"Cumbria Connect: Restoring Nature" will run until 14th October at The Old Courthouse, Shap, with free entry for all visitors.
Please check The Old Courthouse website for details of opening times.
