Need to get ready for a quince or a wedding? If you are looking to learn how to Cumbia in Houston, join this class. We cover everything from the basics steps, turns, easy combinations and music recognition that will help you become a graceful dancer.
This workshop is for Brand new students and absolute beginners that want to start learning how to Cumbia from scratch.
Singles and couples welcome. You don't need to bring a dance partner, and if you do, you can stay together. No dancing experience required.
Register online and save! It helps us keep the class balanced.
🥇 Ultra beginners! We start from scratch. No experience required.
👕 Casual / Gym attire. Low heels or flats. Leather soles recommended. Avoid rubber soles and sandals.
🍹 Food and bar available.
👥 Event is for ages 18+. Singles rotate. Couples can stay together.
COURSE SCHEDULE
4:00p: Check-in - by the bar. Grab a drink / bite to eat while we set up.
4:15p: Beginner foundations and steps in Cumbia.
5:30p: Basic Cumbia figures and easy combinations.
6:30p: Mini Social / Grab a bite to eat.
HOW TO JOIN / TICKET PRICE

✓ Early Registration: $25/lady, $35/gent, $50/couple. In advance, paid online.
✓ Door Registration on Sunday: $40/person at the door. Text for availability. Do not show up unannounced.
✓ If you like to pay at the door, text us at 832-413-2623 "Cumbia Course, + name of student(s)"
✓ Singles, please do not walk-in. We need to keep the ratio between leads and follows even.
We accept cash, Venmo, Cashapp and Zelle. Please no credit cards at the door.
