Background & Purpose
In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, the world stands at a defining crossroads. As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes an embedded force shaping health systems, cultural legacies, and global trade, a widening gap persists between communities that have access to innovation and those left behind. The Aspire Artemis Foundation (AAF) invites you to a powerful high-level convening during UNGA 80 to address this divide head-on.
AI has shifted the digital landscape and is set to transform work in ways not yet fully recognized nor imagined. In the health sector, it has been used to form targeted interventions that has led to large scale advances in care and healing for patients.
From being confronted by false AI created images and videos made without our consent or storylines created in seconds about who we are as private individuals by systems with limited data, artificial intelligence is impacting our everyday lives. In the age of AI, how could we protect and preserve cultural heritage and legacy?
This year's summit—Culture, Health, Trade & the Role of Artificial Intelligence—will explore how inclusive innovation, STEAM education, cultural resilience, and wellness can be harnessed through collective action partnerships to empower vulnerable populations and build a more equitable digital future.
Overview:
Join us during the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80) for a dynamic High-Level Summit hosted by the Aspire Artemis Foundation, in partnership with global development organizations, UN agencies, private sector leaders, and youth innovators.
This flagship convening will explore the intersection of Culture, Health, Trade, and the transformative Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping inclusive development—particularly across the Global South.

Our Vision:
A future where technology uplifts all communities, not just a privileged few. Through partnership, innovation, and cultural understanding, we aim to build a digital future where no one is left behind.
Why This Matters Now
While AI holds the promise of solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges—from food insecurity to diagnostics and remote education—it also presents serious risks if deployed without ethical safeguards or inclusive input. The people most likely to benefit from these innovations are too often excluded from their creation.
Across the Global South and underserved communities around the world, young people—especially girls—lack access to the digital tools, training, and mentorship that could propel them into meaningful careers in AI and technology. Women remain underrepresented in STEAM fields. Older adults struggle to adapt to digital administrative systems. And conflict, poverty, and post-pandemic realities continue to widen disparities.
We believe the future of AI must be human-centered, culturally aware, and ethically driven.
This event is a rallying call to decision-makers, technologists, cultural leaders, entrepreneurs, and global citizens: How do we ensure technology empowers all—not just a privileged few?
Our Vision: Technology as a Tool for Social Transformation
For nearly two decades, the Aspire Artemis Foundation has worked to provide access, upskilling, and opportunities for those most often left behind in the digital age. Through STEAM-focused innovation symposia, digital literacy programs, mental health integration, and cultural diplomacy, AAF has helped foster pathways for young leaders, especially girls and youth from the Global South, to succeed in technology, entrepreneurship, and civic leadership.
This summit builds on that work—and elevates it to a global stage.
