We are excited to announce the Culture Connect Wales (CCW) Jobs Fair - Opportunities for Black, Brown, Asian and other minority ethnic communities to connect with the TV and Film industry.

The CCW Jobs Fair focuses on bridging the gap between ethnic diverse communities and the TV and Film industry.

Schedule overview for the evening:

Arrival @4pm - Make sure you have you ID to access the premises

This first hour you will have time to go round all the industry stalls to speak to the varying different independent film companies. Make the most of this time, and come prepared with great questions, an elevator pitch about yourself as a creative and an open mind.

Workshop 1 @ GP Studio @ 5pm - CCW and UrbanStamp Presents the 24 Hour Cut

CCW in partnership with Urban Stamp, are launching The 24 Hour Cut, a new creative film challenge for Black, Asian and ethnically diverse creatives in Wales. Participants will receive free training, mentorship, a paid bursary, and up to £500 in equipment support to produce a short film within 24 hours.

Join us for a 45-minute session at the Culture Connect Wales Careers Fair to learn more about the challenge, what to expect, and how to get involved. The session will include an overview of the project, funding details, and a live Q&A with the team.


Workshop 2 @ Betty Campbell Studio @6pm - Space Lab - Filmmakers Development Programme Panel Discussion

Are you a Writer, a Director, a Producer in your early career stage who identifies as Black, Asian, Brown or from an ethnic minority community? Then this session is for you!

Last summer, CCW & Ffilm Cymru put together a PAID development programme for 9 filmmakers to develop their film project and career. Hear from the filmmakers who took part in the lab and what they learned that would be useful for other writers, directors and producers.


Workshop 3 @ Betty Campbell Studio @7pm - A conversation with ITV Head of Production, Drama - Faiza Tovey

Faiza Tovey’s career spans almost 30 years. From a Runner, Secretary, Co-ordinator, Production Manager, Line Producer and Producer. Working across many award winning and critically acclaimed productions, culminating in her Head of Production Role at ITV Studios Drama, Faiza can tell you a lot!
