Pick a culture you are or your parents / grandparents / ancestors are or were a part of and share it with us! Newcomers are more than welcome. This could come in the form of traditional clothing, food, drinks, an activity or artifact, a performance, display, or (of course) game. Anything that requires counter, table, or floor space please let me know so I can reserve it for you. If you are not intimately familiar with said culture yourself please do your research and be respectful. The games we're going to play won't be set in stone in advance - we'll pick them together and go over the rules before we start. We have a growing library of 500+ board games (https://tinyurl.com/2jfacxj9) to choose from but feel free to bring your own too if you like. Please park on the nearby side street to the Southeast called Irval Drive but feel free to park on the left side of the driveway temporarily to drop things off. No parking on the grass.
• What to bring
Your cultural item(s), BYOB if you're 21+ and planning to drink, whatever food you like for snacks and / or dinner, and anything you want to play that isn't in our board game library. Please note there are no shoes allowed on inside (except medical boots) but you're welcome to bring your own clean slippers if you like.
Please do us a favor and join our Meetup Group (https://www.meetup.com/Metro-Detroit-Game-Night/), Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/MetroDetroitGameNight/) and like our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MetroDetroitGameNight/) too. This group is and will always be completely free - all we ask is that you RSVP and join and help spread the word about the awesomeness. If you're ever feeling particularly generous we do accept donations to the game library.
