About this Event
Cultural Awareness training helps create a braver space for staff to learn, unlearn, and reflect together as we deepen our understanding of equity, culture, and inclusion at House of Friendship. Grounded in curiosity, respect, and shared responsibility, the sessions invite participants to explore concepts such as unconscious bias, power and privilege, and how culture shapes our perspectives, interactions, and decision‑making. Together, we will explore ways to apply these learnings in meaningful and actionable ways, strengthening our individual and collective commitment to House of Friendship’s Equity Strategy. These sessions emphasize growth over perfection and encourage dialogue, accountability, and compassion for ourselves and one another.Length (2 hours), Mode (In-Person), Format (lecture, discussion, & small group)"
