How to Build Creation Care Communities
Have you ever longed to see your church respond to the climate crisis with prophetic imagination? Would you like to be part of a community moving from despair to hope? If so, come join Rev Dr. Ben Lowe and other experienced creation caregivers for an action-focused workshop empowering Bay Area churches to birth and nourish Creation Care Communities. A movement of climate-active churches has already started & we'd love to see it grow in the Bay! Ben is Executive Director of A Rocha USA, which has recently launched creation care cohorts of more than 20 churches in three regions across the nation. And several Bay Area churches have already begun to do some amazing things to protect the planet--so let's gather all this goodness on Saturday, February 16 at Grace Fellowship in SF. Whether you're starting from scratch or you've been caring for creation for years, let's multiply our efforts by bearing witness to our good God and God's good creation!
Tickets include a delicious vegetarian lunch, books, and other community-building resources.
