CULL THE SWARM TOUR 2025 (ACT) - TAKOBA + IDENTITY ERROR + DOMESTICATED INCELS + HERALD

A co-headline collision seeing Wollongong’s TAKOBA take PURGE EP on its last pre-release roadtrip, and Melbourne's IDENTITY ERROR unearthing YOU STILL HAVE TOMORROW EP, joined by local weapons HERALD and DOMESTICATED INCELS .
The two bands will be hitting multiple locations on the east coast of NSW with their unique respective flairs of hardcore and metalcore, before TAKOBA split and head for Melbourne.
‘All-core’ and ever-changing, TAKOBA haven’t made a decision in their life beyond the decision to use their debut PURGE EP as homebase for complete cleanse and rebuild.
Featuring members of Gosika, Stop Asking, and Exit:Seraphim/Pipoltr - this volatile stray-dog collective fuses hardcore, death metal, and melodic punk into a sound that’s razor-sharp, emotionally charged, and intended to strike an uncomfortable nerve.
The collection of tracks building PURGE dive headfirst into deeply personal and sickening terrain—the internal violence that remains following sexual assault; perpetual torment of mental illness; recounts of and reflections on active addiction and domestic violence.
TAKOBA obliterate genre lines and expectations with cathartic force and unrelenting honesty
Having already turned heads with a string of blistering live shows and quickly growing repertoire, TAKOBA may have kept us waiting for their debut single, but not for a glimpse of what's to come. ‘Mantis’ doesn't only have the most earworm intro you'll hear in heavy this year, but has stood out as an intimate work of lyricism confronting the violence eating disorders and the crushing weight of body image and societal pressure.
Since forming in 2023, Identity Error have become notorious in their local Melbourne scene for their high energy live performances.
The independent release of their debut EP “You Still Have Tomorrow” on 8th August 2025 see’s the band expose both their most deeply personal and best musical form yet, as they bare haunting reflections of life, depression and loss.
One of only four crossover shows accompanied by your favourite locals, with exclusive CTS tour merch available.
Welcome to the reckoning.
