The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the world. Legendary chefs like Anthony Bourdain, Rocco DiSpirito, Duff Goldman, and Anne Burrell are just a few of its notable alumni.
Join us for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes experience at the CIA, including a private dining experience at the renowned Bocuse French Restaurant, set on the stunning campus overlooking the Hudson River. Your day will also include a short tour of the CIA campus, an exceptional multi-course meal, and a visit to the historic Franklin D. Roosevelt Mansion and Presidential Library. NYSN founder Dave Cervini will be your host for the day.
What to Expect
- Transportation:
Take the 8:55am train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie, NY, or drive and meet the group at the Poughkeepsie train station at 10:57am sharp. - Lunch at the CIA:
Enjoy a three-course meal in a private dining room at American Bounty Restaurant (menu below). - Campus Tour:
Dave will lead a guided walk through the CIA campus, including select restaurants and classrooms, while sharing the school’s rich history. - FDR Historic Site:
After lunch, we’ll head to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Mansion and Presidential Library for a guided tour. - Return to NYC:
Transportation will be provided back to the Poughkeepsie train station for a relaxing return to NYC. Latest departure: 5:52pm.
