About this Event
Learn hands-on how to make zuppa toscana inspired orzo! While Culikid's virtual classes are paced to be accessible for a neurodivergent child, they are open to everyone! All ages and abilities are welcome to join!
This class will involve measuring, cutting vegetables, and using the stove. Adult assistance is suggested if your child or teen needs help with any of the above as well as following verbal directions, staying on task, and initiating tasks. This class will take approximately 1 hour.
Ingredients and supplies needed:
- Olive oil
- Sweet onion
- Carrot
- Ground Italian sausage or vegan substitute
- Garlic
- Orzo
- Chicken or Vegetable Broth
- Kale
- Milk
- Parmesan
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon (optional)
Register once per household (not for each individual). Once you register, you will be sent the Zoom meeting link followed by the full ingredient and supply list. If you have any questions about the class or ingredients you can substitute, email us at [email protected].
