About this Event
Join us for a night exploring how a variety of cultures created cuisine through times of crisis. This is the 113th potluck, and this month Erma N will be hosting!
We'll explore the delicious cuisine through time and culture in which people survived through hard times with limited resources! Think: The Great Depression in the US, food shortages in former Soviet Union, 17th century pasta in Italy during starvation and food crisis, and more. Share ideas! Bring a food dish (cook it yourself or get take out from a local restaurant) or a drink to share from any culture that survived with limited resources and creativity in cuisine. You can also bring a friend who you think would enjoy awesome food and awesome company! ☀️🥙🎉🕺🏻💃🏻🥣🥂
The dinners are a great way to connect with others while learning and trying different foods from around the world, and having open-minded conversations. No matter if this is your first one, haven't been for a while, or are a regular... we hope to see you soon! All are welcome.
