We are very excited to continue the Cuchulainn's Open Mic with a FULL BAND SET UP! Big thanks to School of Rock Streetsville for providing our drum kit!
The following equipment is provided for the open mic:
- PA system/mics
- Drum Kit (courtesy of School of Rock Streetsville)
- Guitar Amp
- Bass Amp
- Left handed acoustic guitar
- Right handed acoustic guitar
PERFORMERS: we highly recommend you bring your own mics if at all possible. All shared mics are sanitized between performers. Email [email protected] for details.
For 10+ years we have hosted Open Mic events at Cuchulainn's with Matt Zaddy as the host. These events have brought a great deal of joy to performers, and to music, comedy and spoken word lovers.
They have truly been the highlight of Mississauga's underground and grassroots music scene. This is our community getting together, to celebrate what we love.
Massive thanks to Cuchulainn's Irish Pub, Matt Zaddy, and School of Rock Streetsville for making these events happen!
Event itinerary:
730pm-8pm - performers check-in
8pm - Matt Zaddy opens the night
810pm on - Open Mic!
CONTENT: although this is a 19+ event (after 9pm), I have to be strict with the type of content I have from performers. What you perform reflects directly on me as a host.
- Absolutely NO misogyny, racism, homophobia, transphobia, hatespeech, bigotry, etc.
- if you are unsure of your material, please run it by me first
- anyone who violates the rules will be kicked out of the event and may be barred from future performances
