Undoubtedly one of the most exciting and forward-thinking contemporary blues artists, Ramon Goose has built a career pushing musical boundaries. He has performed and recorded with legendary artists including Eric Bibb, Boo Boo Davis, Eric Burdon, and Pee Wee Ellis, and continues to evolve his sound through global influences.
Over recent years, Ramon has travelled extensively through Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, absorbing rich musical traditions and weaving them into his own distinctive style. From the deserts of Morocco to the streets of Havana and the rhythms of Senegal, his music reflects a journey of discovery, storytelling, and deep cultural connection.
His acclaimed album “The Long Road to Tiznit” blends classic blues in the tradition of Skip James, John Lee Hooker, and R.L. Burnside with Saharan grooves and hypnotic desert melodies—exploring themes of travel, resilience, danger, and freedom. His solo performance continues this evolution, drawing inspiration from mid-60s London blues while delivering raw, groove-driven energy on stage.
