All Cub Scouts attending resident camp must be accompanied by a parent or attend as part of an organized Pack with registered adult leadership meeting BSA Safeguarding Youth guidelines.
For resident camp, Cub Scouts are able to camp overnight in the same tents the older Scouts use. The magic of camping comes alive at night when the Cub Scouts are able to gather around a campfire to sing songs, roast marshmallows, and re-live the day's adventures with friends. All meals are provided in the camp dining hall. The resident camp program also progresses beyond the day camp experience by offering additional program opportunities.
The summer resident camp program is primarily designed for fun and engagement, though some Cub Scout Adventures and advancement may be earned as well. The program is planned to include:
• Shooting sports (archery, slingshots, BB's)
• Aquatics (swimming & boating)
• Fishing
• Nature exploration & STEM activities
• Bouldering and climbing
• Scout skills
• Crafts
• Sports and games
