Friday, April 17, Rotterdam revelation Tramhaus return to Romania, this time at Control.
They are known for their broad and ever-electrifying sound that reaches from shoegaze to punk rock, and even some hints of the crank wave going strong these days. The mix comes from the band’s diverse influences, but live it clicks into a tight, unified force. Their shows are full of attitude and handle tension with intention, holding it back or letting it overflow as needed.

The symbiotic five-piece have toured nonstop, playing sold-out rooms and major stages across France, Germany, the UK, Central and Northern Europe, Spain and Portugal, with Japan firmly on their map. They have appeared at leading European festivals including Best Kept Secret, Sziget, Primavera, Dour, Colours of Ostrava, Tremor, and Les Vieilles Charrues, as well as key showcase festivals such as ESNS, Reeperbahn, MaMa, and The Great Escape.
Their first album titled ‘The First Exit’ came out September 2024. Major newspapers De Volkskrant, NRC and Trouw all gave them five out of five stars in their reviews, an exceptional consensus in the Dutch press. Also their sold-out show at the big hall in Paradiso was greeted with a perfect score by reviewers.

Getchoo is a rock band from Bucharest, started in 2023. The band surrounds vulnerable lyrics and vocal parts with the warm noise of distortion, creating both intimate and impulsive moments. Getchoo's sound is in a constant evolution through the involvement of four musicians with different tastes: Victor (vocals, guitar), Tudi (bass), Bucur (guitar, vocals), David (drums). Reshaping their influences, the four seek memorable songs, no matter what musical genre they emerge from.
Their first album, "WILL", was released in October 2024 and was warmly received by the underground scene, especially the songs "Boat/Tow Truck", "Cadaver" and the ballad "Today, Tomorrow". Continuing the tradition established by the debut EP "Songs From The Living Room", "WILL" is the authentic result of D.I.Y. recording and production.
Besides their native Bucharest, Getchoo have performed in Cluj-Napoca, Constanța, Timișoara and even Hosman, Sibiu, at the indie-rock festival Holzstock. They shared the stage with other alternative artists, such as Pinholes, Kadjavsi, D.E.N.I.S, PLANT and Asincron.
Currently, Getchoo are preparing material for their next album, implementing the sounds of a recently acquired synthesizer and finding new ways to translate complex feelings into music. Their new single "Without A Right Hand" is now available.
