Not My Cup of Tea is a project shaped between Piatra Neamț and Bucharest, blending alternative rock, shoegaze, and dream-pop into a lo-fi, atmospheric sound.
What began in 2019 as a simple jam session slowly evolved into a full band, with members joining from different cities and bringing new layers into the project. Their debut album DWELL, recorded in a small bedroom setting, reflects this process, a raw and intimate exploration of endings, whether personal, social, or emotional.
After moving to Bucharest and refining their sound through rehearsals and lineup changes, the band continues to grow, with a second album set for release this spring.
