A Research-Focused Introduction to R (In Person)

This three-hour workshop is designed to provide new users with a clear path from their first lines of code to practical research applications. We will guide you through the Initial Data Analysis Framework, ensuring you develop a reproducible workflow from day one. Through guided, hands-on practice, we cover the entire process from the first time you open RStudio to producing your first set of visualizations. By the end of the session, you will have the "best-practice" toolkit needed to minimize common frustrations and kick off your own data projects with confidence.
Please bring your own laptop.
The session will cover:
· Navigating R and RStudio
· Understanding R data types and structures
· Data manipulation essentials
· Simple data visualization
Prerequisites: No prior knowledge of R or programming experience is necessary.
