Center for Studies on Africa and Its Diaspora (CSAD) at Georgia State University (GSU) invites you to join us for an engaging celebration of plays and playwrights during the Student Edition of the CSAD Global Read-a-Thon 2026, “The Table Read.”
This student-focused affair is open to all and will feature talented group of GSU students showcasing their talent.
“The Table Read” will include renowned plays and emerging dramatic works whose impact is undeniable and with universal themes such as family relationships and quest for the American dream. Discussion, audience Q+A, and a reception will follow immediately after "The Table Read."
The event will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm - 6:30 p.m. at Georgia State University’s Troy Moore Library, 25 Park Place NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. Don't miss this lively and entertaining event!
This year's annual Global Read-a-Thon will livestream on February 18, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Catch it on YouTube and Facebook @csadatGSU and on Atlanta's Georgia Public Television (GPB).
