Byddwch yn dechrau trwy beintio â llaw siap Selkie pren wedi’i dorri’n fanwl â laser, gan ddefnyddio paent lliwiau dŵr Japaneaidd o’r radd flaenaf. Dysgwch sut i adeiladu haenau tryloyw o liw i greu dyfnder, symudiad a phersonoliaeth yn eich gwaith.
Ar ôl i'r paentiad sychu, cewch gyfle i ddarganfod hud resin UV – dysgu sut mae’n gweithio, technegau cymhwyso gwahanol, a sut i’w ddefnyddio i selio a diogelu’ch dyluniad gyda gorffeniad sgleiniog proffesiynol.
I orffen, byddwch yn dewis troi’ch Selkie wedi’i phaentio’n fwclis neu’n freichled, ac yn ychwanegu’r holl gydrannau perthnasol.

Create your own enchanting 'Selkie' brooch or necklace in this hands-on creative workshop.
You’ll begin by hand-painting a beautifully laser-cut wooden Selkie shape using high-quality Japanese watercolours. Learn how to build up translucent layers of paint to add depth, movement, and personality to your piece.
Once your painting is complete and dry, you’ll explore the magic of UV resin—discovering how it works, different application techniques, and how to use it to seal and protect your design with a glossy, professional finish.
To finish, you’ll choose whether to turn your painted Selkie into a brooch or a necklace and attach the relevant fittings.
You’ll leave with a unique, wearable piece of art—and the skills to try the process again at home. No experience needed—just bring your imagination!
The course is held in our workshop upstairs, above our shop on Palace Street in the centre of Caernarfon.
