About this Event
Summary: This is an easy 4 mile, circular walk through Crystal Palace Park on mainly paved paths. We will enjoy the Victorian, grade II* listed public park, as we view the diverse wildlife and ponds, and walk alongside wide open grasslands. You may also choose to tackle the maze and perform the Kemetic Yoga’s ‘Journey of Ra’ sequence, beside two of the Hor em Arkhet statues (known in the western world as Sphinx), at the upper terrace.
Please note, there is currently renovation works taking place on site, which will not interfere with our route; although, some iconic features of Crystal Palace Park are not available to view.
Duration: The walk will last approx. 3 hours, including breaks, depending on pace and stoppages.
Terrain: The route takes us along surfaced and mostly maintained paths

• This hike is suitable for ages 18+ This is a safe group for people of black African/ Caribbean ancestry, to take up space in the national landscapes in which we all live.
