Cryptorium was started in November of 2022 by Fabian Larsen, Knalle Arvidsson who wrote material as a duo which would later take shape into the Cryptic Bloodlust demo that was released on july 1st 2023.
A week after the release, the demo was heard by Albin Holgersson, who would join Cryptorium and save it from disbanding completely.
Now, as a trio, stronger than ever, Cryptorium started to write music for what was going to become DESCENT INTO LUNACY. The recording process was done parallelly with playing shows from December of 2023 to April 2024 by the band.
Faster, louder, and ruder than ever, Cryptorium has risen from the ashes of the glory days of Swedish death metal in the 80s and 90s. Taking inspiration from bands such as , , , , and , Cryptorium presents their debut album DESCENT INTO LUNACY. 8 songs and 30 minutes of relentless, gloomy and merciless HM-2 driven death metal made for the depraved to consume. NOT FOR WHIMPS AND POSERS.

From the ashes of several death metal, kraut rock and synth bands, Floating was formed in Uppsala in 2021. Aiming to push the boundaries of what death metal can be, they have since released two albums. ”The Waves Have Teeth" in 2022 and "Hesitating Lights” in 2025. The band that Metal Hammer has called ”The Cure if they were a death metal band” is now bringing their distortion of death metal to Klubb Fredagsmangel.
