About this Event
Have you ever wondered what keeps your credit card information safe? How do journalists use algorithms to keep themselves safe from dictators? Veronica Tang, co-founder of AGSS, privacy engineer at Google, and former cryptography researcher at Max-Planck returns to teach cryptography. Together, we’ll learn about the fundamentals of encryption and modern applications of cryptography. Let us also embark upon the noble mission of delivering a cake safely from Isabelle to Bob. Bob’s sweet tooth (and health!) depends on the security protocols you develop to keep the cake safe from our enemies. Come get a taste of the cryptographer’s life!
For girls in grades 5-8.
