About this Event
The ATI's Hydrogen Capability Network (HCN) in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is hosting a cryogenic hydrogen research conference at the Institute of Physics (IoP) in central London on Wednesday 8th January, 2025.
This inaugural single day event will bring together academics, students, and engineers in industry working in the field of cryogenic hydrogen to share knowledge and expertise and build a community.
There will be talks and panel discussions featuring world leading technical experts, policy makers, and industry representatives. In the afternoon, there will be three parallel breakout sessions focusing on research from areas identified as critical to support technology development. These areas are:
- Cryogenic hydrogen thermofluids behaviour
- Fundamental material behaviour at cryogenic temperatures and hydrogen environments
- Cryogenic hydrogen health and safety protocols, modelling, and testing
The event will finish with a drinks and canapes reception for discussion and networking. The conference promises to be a fantastic opportunity which will bring together a range of people from across industry, research institutions and academia.
