"Crows"11th-15th November 2025
7pm at the Motley Bauhaus
Written by Robert Lewis and award-winning playwright Ryan Enniss
Directed by Callum Bodman
'Crows' sees ten characters navigating their way through life while dealing the ghosts of their past. The characters are linked together by a thread of chance happenings that they encounter through their journey.
Written in a unique style where each playwright writes a monologue, then passes it on to the other to extract more from the narrative in a literary tennis match, ‘Crows’ delves into the complex layers of masculinity and anxiety, while exploring universal themes like loss, relationships, and the burdens of the past. By weaving together interconnected monologues, the play mirrors the fragmented and intertwined nature of our own lives. Audiences will find a mirror of their own struggles and joys in these complex characters.
'Crows' balances absurd humour with gut-punch honesty and aims to challenge audiences while fostering empathy and connection.
Cast includes Ben Goss, Jalen Ong, Chloe Mckeon, Annaliese Cartwright
Design by Georgia Mason
